The temperatures are falling in the Mid-Atlantic area of the U.S. If you are approaching or over 50, and have dry skin, my dermatologist says the skin develops microscopic cracks in colder weather. Therefore, we need to take extra time to apply oils and moisturizers that protect our skin. Before I hit my fifties, I never noticed my skin getting drier in the Autumn and Winter months. Now, as soon as the temperatures drop in Autumn, my lips, hands, feet, and scalp are drier! I even have to use OLIVE SWEET OIL W/DROPPER 1 OZ since my ear canals get very dry! Just before going to bed, I use Body Wonders Castor Oil, Hexane Free for Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails, 16 fl oz / 473 ml on my hands, feet, elbows, and knees. For my lips, I keep Chapstick Classic Medicated Lip Balm, 0.15 Ounce, 3 Count with me at all times! After my morning shower, I absolutely love The Body Shop Body Butter, Shea, 6.75 Ounce (Packaging May Vary)! It is thick and creamy; it smells delicious; and it keeps my body soft and supple!
