The Dunes Resort @ Ocean City MD

Through healthy issues, surgery, COVID-19, and the aches and pains of old age, we finally made it back to the beach! It’s been 3 years since we’ve been this close to the Atlantic Ocean, and we are soaking in the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore, absorbing the salt water breezes, and witnessing the sights and sounds of families having fun at the beach! It’s the week after Independence Day, the temperatures are in the low 80s, and Ocean City, Maryland is the place to be!

The Dunes Resort is perfect for over 50 guests! It’s quiet and it’s at the far end of the boardwalk so you can easily walk the boardwalk and enjoy the beach views. Tea time is at 3pm daily and a lovely piano player entertains guests. The Victorian restaurant serves delicious food and Vince will welcome you and treat you like he has known you forever …

Aging is a difficult process … We have learned that we have to be thankful for each day. When health challenges arise, work through with your doctor and try to keep your body moving and your attitude positive and hopeful!
